Wes Gallaway

Wilbert Wesley Gallaway of Gorrie passed away at Braemar Retirement Centre on Thursday, July 13th, 2006. Born in Howick Township on October 1st, 1918, Wes was in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Audrene (Zimmerman)(Templeman) Gallaway. Dear stepfather Tom Templeman and his wife Frances and Bob Templeman and his wife Mary all of Gorrie, Don Templeman and his wife Brenda of Listowel, Susan Heinmiller and her husband Bruce of Kurtzville and Ken Templeman and his wife Maryanne of Collingwood. Also loved by his 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, stepsister Sharon Coulter and her husband Clifton of Gorrie, sisters-in-law Velma Jacques of Summerland, BC, Betty and Jean Andari of Windsor and Bonnie and Jack Shiell of Wingham, Bill & Karen Zimmerman of Stratford and by his several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his granddaughter Sandra and in-laws Addie Jacques and Harry and Georgina Zimmerman. Friends were received by the family from 7 to 9 PM Saturday at the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, where the funeral service was conducted on Sunday, July 16th at 2:00 PM with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Carrying floral tributes were Angie Heinmiller, Carrie Templeman, Jennifer Templeman and Anne Heinmiller. Pallbearers were Todd Templeman, Troy Templeman, Sanford Zimmerman, Ken Heinmiller, Mike Heinmiller, and Chris Templeman. Burial in Gorrie Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Resident�s Council of Braemar Retirement Centre.
