After a short courageous battle with cancer, Vaughn Hunking passed away February 13, 2021 at the Huron Hospice (Central Huron) in her 66th year.
Loving daughter of Pat (Anderson) Hunking.
Sister of Donna Walsh (Doug Vincent), Joan (Gord) Henderson and Robert Hunking.
Also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Predeceased by her father Ted Hunking, brother-in-law Murray Walsh and sister-in-law Kim (Rooney) Hunking.
Vaughn graduated from CHSS with Grade 12. She progressed through ARC Industries, Goodwill, Leads and became a Page at London Central Library for 30 years. Family, friends, community, and church were important parts of Vaughn’s life. She could be seen attending numerous activities of her nieces and nephews. Vaughn always kept in contact with relatives near, far and distant. Friends were anyone she met. She could not miss a community event. Vaughn was a regular volunteer at the Blyth Festival Theatre. Many people have benefited from her love of knitting. Vaughn enjoyed her church choir. She regularly attended Westminister Weekend. Church was an extended family for Vaughn whether in London, Belgrave, Blyth, Clinton or Londesboro.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held on February 17, 2021 at the Blyth United Church at 1p.m.
