Ruby Howes

Ruby Leona (Steuernol) Howes of Kitchener, formerly of Gorrie and Listowel, passed away at Trinity Village Care Centre in Kitchener on Wednesday, October 26th, 2016. Born in Howick Township on January 16th, 1927, Ruby was in her 90th year. Ruby was the wife of the late William Leslie Howes (February 21st, 2001) and will be sadly missed by her sons Dale Howes of Wingham and Brock Howes and his wife Betty Ann of Kitchener. Dear sister of Bob and Ardelle Steuernol of Wroxeter. Also loved by by her grandchildren Jennifer, Cheryl, Michelle, Tiffany, and Joshua; her great grandchildren Julia, Allie,and Olivia; and sisters in law Lorraine and Joyce. Ruby was predeceased by her parents Nelson Steuernol and Ruby Nay, her brothers Archie, Bert, Mac and John and her sisters Jean Wilton and Wyn Howes. Friends will be received 2 hours prior to the funeral service being conducted from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels, on Monday, October 31st, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Burial in Gorrie Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society of Waterloo- Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
