Rick Fritz

Passed away peacefully on June 14th in Brussels in his 76th year.

Loving partner to the Late Jeannine Robillard.

Proud Dad to Dave Fritz (Kelly MacNeil).

Adoring grandpa to Tyler (Carley), Jocelyn, Rory (Connor).

Brother to Don (Marie) Fritz.

Missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Predeceased by siblings Jim (Barb), Brian (Marilyn), Marg (Doug).

Rick was born in Listowel, owning his own construction business in Kincardine and then after retirement working at Lake Huron Rod and Gun. He loved to hunt and fish on Lake Huron and chase geese in the side by side. Rick liked chatting and catching up with everyone. He was genuinely interested in hearing what people had to say.

Rick was a loving dad and grandfather, never being afraid to let someone know how he felt. He taught his family to love one another unconditionally, to have a good work ethic and to be kind to those who needed it. He was very humorous always cracking jokes and showing off his infectious smile. Rick was the proudest of his family and their accomplishments, he loved to visit and be part of family gatherings. His wonderful presence will be missed by many.

Cremation has taken place,

A come and go celebration of Rick’s life will take place on Friday June 28th starting at 2pm at 43410 Moncrieff Road Brussels.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated.
