Reta was a homemaker and as well worked as a sewer by trade for many years at Kaufman Footwear and Custom Leather. During her lifetime she knitted many items for her children and grandchildren and enjoyed doing ceramics. One fond memory is the making of many Barbie doll clothes for her daughters (including Tracy) and nieces - best dressed Barbie's on the block! She traveled to the West and East Coasts of Canada, England with her mother Adell and her biggest trip of all was to Australia to visit her daughter Sherry in 1995.
Interment will take place following the luncheon at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, 243 Weber Street East, Kitchener, at 1:00 pm
In lieu of flowers the family have requested that memorial donations be made to the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario.
