R. Gordon Nichol

R. Gordon Nichol of Brussels passed away on Friday, March 6, 2009 at Huronlea Home for the Aged. Born in Morris Township on August 15, 1916, Gordon was in his 93rd year. Gordon was the beloved husband of the late Oriole (Garrett) and will be sadly missed by his son Robert Nichol and wife Molly of Saskatoon, his grandchildren R.J., Mac, Lach, Xander, Katie and Jason and his great grandson Darius. Dear brother of Kenneth of Hamilton, Stuart of Toronto, Allan and Elaine of Brussels and Marjorie Wray of Hamilton. Predeceased by his sisters Mildred, Dorothy and Eleanor and her husband Elwood, his brother Glenn and his wife Mary and his brother in law Bill. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be conducted at Brussels Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Brussels Legion No. 218 RCL.
