Maxine Adams

Maxine (Farrish) Adams of Brussels passed away at University Hospital, London on Sunday, February 17th, 2013. Born in Ashfield Township on August 10th, 1930, Maxine was in her 83rd year. Maxine was the beloved wife of 64 years to George and will be sadly missed by her children Jean and David Beard of Aurora, John Alexander Adams of Brussels, Carol Adams and Jose Candanedo of Orleans and Susan Adams of Woodstock and her grandson Adam Beard. Dear sister to Millie Leader of Wingham, Jasper and Cherie Farrish of Gorrie, and Johnston Farrish of British Columbia. Also loved by her sisters in law Helen Farrish of Gorrie and Helen Edmunds of Stratford. Predeceased by her brother Bower Farrish and brother in law Donald Leader. Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 PM Wednesday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, February 21st at 2:00 PM officiated by Reverend Jeff Hawkins. Spring interment in Wroxeter Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Brussels Legion No. 218 RCL would be appreciated by the family.
