Maureen Mayer

Passed away peacefully ay Rotary Hospice in Stratford on June 25th 2024 in her 89th year.

Predeceased by loving husband Kurt (1994).

Proud mom to Jeanette Mayer.

Sister to Allan Robertson.

Predeceased by sisters Joan Groves, Shelia Kuechmeister.

Mourned by many nieces and nephews.

 Missed by furry friend Benji.

Maureen immigrated with her sister Sheila to Canada when she was 27. She met the love of her life Kurt at a dance, and they spent 30 years together. Maureen loved to read and knit and was a true home body. She was a quiet person but loved the hustle and bustle of the city. She enjoyed watching mystery and comedy movies with her daughter, especially if James Bond was involved. 

Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Rotary Hospice in Stratford would be appreciated.
