Mary 'May' Cassels (Thomson) Hyndman of Wingham,
and formerly of Gorrie, passed away on Friday, January 9th, 2009 at Wingham & District Hospital.
Born in Minto Township on August 23rd, 1924, May was 84 years of age.
Beloved wife of 63 years to Allan Hyndman.
Dear mother Clarke Hyndman of Toronto and Karen MacTavish and her husband Brian of Hanover. Also loved by her grandchildren Christopher and his wife Lee, Julie, Michael, Cameron and Kathryn, her great granddaughter Nayana and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son and grandson in infancy.
Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Monday at the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home where the funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 13th at 2 PM with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating.
Spring interment at Gorrie Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Gorrie United Church.
