Lorne Weston

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19th, 2024, at Hospice Wellington in his 77th year.

Left to mourn his loss is his wife Janice (Lind) Weston.

Sadly missed by his children Will & Katelyn, Dean & Amanda, Katie and stepchildren Christine, Kyle & Erin.

Beloved grandpa of Sebastian.

Also missed by several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents Leonard & Grace Weston, sister Donna & Rich Eichler and brother Lloyd Weston.

Lorne had a passion for cars and was an avid fan of motorcycles, steam engines, model kits and antiques.  In his spare time, he enjoyed travelling to different shows to sell collectable toys and camping with his wife Janice.  He worked as a parts manager for both farm and automotive dealerships as was a very hardworking farmer.  When Lorne retired, he volunteered much of his time to VON, The Children’s Aid Society and driving for his Mennonite community.

Family and friends are invited for visitation at Lorne’s home (82768 Letterbreen Rd RR#4 Mount Forest) on Sunday June 23rd from 7-9pm and Monday June 24th from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm.

A celebration of Lorne’s life will take place at the Mount Forest Legion on Sunday August 11th from 1-4pm.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to Hospice Wellington or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
