Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 19th at Seaforth Community Hospital in her 82nd year.
Loving wife to the late Kenneth (2018) for 58 years.
Proud mom to Doug & Corry Sholdice, Cathy & Randy Fischer, and Don & Jill Sholdice.
Devoted grandma to Alix, Ryan & Cassidy, Jordyn & Greg, Meagan, Travis, Lacey & John, Jodi & Justin, Ashley & Tucker and Holly.
Great grandma to 7 great grandchildren.
Sister-in-law to Nora Stephenson.
Predeceased by siblings Isabel (George) Heimpel, Bill (Velma) Stephenson, Jean (Lloyd) Schmidt, Dick (Sarah) Stephenson, Doc Stephenson, Kenneth Stephenson, Doreen (Lorne) Dale, Shirley (Ken) Wilken.
Missed by several nieces and nephews.
Liz was a retired postmaster from the Brussels Post Office working there for over 25 years. She had a lovely smile and a humble laugh. Liz was a kind woman, known for her baking and her quilts and enjoyed volunteering at the Brussels United Church baking pies. Liz loved her grandkids and enjoyed spending time with them either in person or over the phone. She had a large group of friends and enjoyed being social around Brussels. She was proud of her children and their accomplishments and always made sure they were happy and treated fairly.
Cremation has taken place.
A private family ceremony will take place.
In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Brussels United Church or the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
