Leona Connelly

Leona (Gaynor) Connelly of RR#3 Brussels passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 8th, 2010. Born in Grey Township on December 9th, 1915, Leona was in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Fergus Connelly (Nov. 23rd, 1963). Dear mother of Yvonne Martin and her husband Don of RR#1 Ethel. Also loved by her cousins Jim Cooper of Brussels, Jim Gaynor of Hamilton and Helen Johnston of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her infant daughter Corrine and her parents John and Elizabeth (Cooper) Gaynor. Friends will be received one hour prior to the funeral mass which will be celebrated on Friday, February 12th at 11:00 AM from St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church. Interment will take place at St. Ambrose Cemetery in the spring. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Ambrose (Brussels) Cemetery.
