Laura Fischer

Laura Marie (Ellacott) Fischer of Brussels, passed away at Braemar Retirement Centre, Wingham, on Saturday, January 19, 2008. Born in Grey Township on February 11, 1925, Laura was in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Charles. Dear mother of Dianne and Don Bray of Brussels and Don and Darlene Fischer of RR#3 Brussels. Also loved by her grandchildren Tracey Swart and husband Mark of RR#3 Brussels, Korey Bray of Toronto, Kendra Snyder and her husband Matt of Brussels, her great grandchildren Matthew, Alida, Jenna, Seth , Colin and her brother Howard Ellacott and his wife Audrey of Listowel. Predeceased by her brothers Clarence, Elmer, and George, sisters Evelyn Jeffrey and Violet Smith and daughter in law Linda. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Monday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home where the funeral will be conducted Tuesday, January 22nd at 2:00 PM with Pastor Brent Kipfer officiating. Spring interment in Brussels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or to Town & Country Support Services.
