Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 19th, 2019 in his 73rd year.
Beloved husband to the Late Barbara (2006) for 39 years.
Loving Dad to Anthony (Tricia) Ward and Sheri (Ivan) Labbe.
Proud Grandpa to Ashton Ward & Mitch Ortman, Brooklyn and Lucas Ward, Mackenzie and Shelby Machan.
Great Grandfather to Jaxx Ortman.
Brother to Gerald (Ann) Ward, Kathy (Rick) Nieman, Connie (Marvin) Gibbings.
Brother -in-law to Sandy (Gail) Vallance, Bill (Laurel) Vallance, Wendy Walsh & Jim Morrison, Ray Walsh, Stewart Vallance, Darwin Vallance, Darene (Mike) Roeder, Donna (Gary) Hopper, Kim (Ann) Vallance, Judy (Mike) Harris.
Missed by furry friend Scruffy.
Predeceased by parents Lawson & Muriel and in-laws Alexander & Audrey Vallance. Brother Keith (Deanna) and Brian, sister-in-law Heather Cooper.
Larry was a member of the Percheron Horse Association and was involved with horses his entire life. He loved to farm at Barbarry Acres and spend time with his family. Larry was a former volunteer fireman and heavily involved in his community, he enjoyed the Ethel Christmas hayride and many weddings with his team of horses, he didn’t stray very far from 6th of Grey Township.
Friends and family will be received at The Ethel Community Centre for a casual visitation on Thursday May 23rd from 2-4 & 7-9. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at the Ethel Community Centre on May 24th at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Listowel Memorial Hospital or the Grey Firemans Association.
Cards of sympathy and memorial donations may be sent to Box 340, Brussels.
