Ken was a person who enjoyed life, worked hard and played hard. He was known to never say no to a warm beer. Sports were a big part of Ken’s life, both competitively and socially. He enjoyed hockey, broomball, baseball and darts over the years, an 8th line team figured in the mix somewhere in almost every sport. Ken enjoyed talking to everyone. Although he never got rich selling his produce, it gave him a chance to talk to a wide variety of people. From the Mennonites who sold him the vegetables and fruit, the vendors at the market or the many different customers who purchased from him were always up for a chat. He loved to tease and joke, whether it was with the little ones or the not so very young ones. He was a lover of pets and his cat held a special place in his daily life. Most of all Ken was a protective and loving husband, father, grandfather and man.
