Kathleen Semple

Kathleen (Hoffman) Semple of RR#1 Ethel, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 7th, 2011. Born in North Easthope on August 20th, 1930, Kathleen was in her 81st year. Kathleen was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Brydone Semple who predeceased her on September 16th, 2008 and will be sadly missed by her children Calvin and Gail Semple of RR#1 Ethel, Janice White and friend Lawrence Pinkney of Mississauga, Robina Semple of Stratford, and Kevin and Marie Semple of Listowel. Dear grandmother to Crystal McCallum and husband Chad, Jodi Houston and husband Darryl, Rob Semple, Jason and Jeremy White and Brydone and Matt Semple and her great granddaughter Kaleigh. Dear sister of Evelyn Coxon of Milverton and Calvin and Marion Hoffman of New Hamburg. Dear sister-in-law of Murray and Marie Semple of St. Thomas and John and Beryl Semple of Atwood. Also loved by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Lloyd Coxon. Friends will be received by the family from 6 to 9 PM Thursday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home and 2 hours prior to the funeral service being conducted from Melville Presbyterian Church on Friday, February 11th at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Cathrine Campbell. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to The Children's Wish Foundation or the charity of one's choice.
