Joseph Semple

Joseph Brydone Semple of RR#1 Ethel, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 16th, 2008. Born in Milverton on October 6th, 1928, Joseph was in his 80th year. Joseph will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Kathleen of 56 years and his children Calvin and Gail Semple of RR#1 Ethel, Janice White and friend Lawrence Pinkney of Mississauga, Robina Semple of Stratford, and Kevin and Marie Semple of Listowel. Dear grandfather to Crystal McCallum and husband Chad, Jodi and Rob Semple, Jason and Jeremy White and Brydone and Matt Semple and his great granddaughter Kaleigh. Dear brother of Murray and Marie Semple of St. Thomas and John and Beryl Semple of Atwood. Dear brother-in-law to Evelyn Coxon of Milverton and Calvin and Marion Hoffman of New Hamburg. Also loved by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Lloyd Coxon. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Wednesday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, 401 Albert St., Brussels. The funeral service will be conducted from Melville Presbyterian Church 55 Dunedin Drive, Brussels on Thursday, September 18th at 2:00 PM. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Melville Presbyterian Church, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of one's choice.
