January 1, 1989 — March 18, 2022

Jose Alfredo Ariza Gudiel, tragically passed away in his 32nd year after a car accident on Friday the 18th of March 2022.

Loving husband of 6 years to Katrina Ariza Gudiel (Nee McIntyre), of Ethel & proud father of Cielo, Age 4 & Prim, Age 2.

Son of Donaldo Ariza & Nora Gudiel. Loving Brother to Jhoselin and Ludwin Ariza, half brother Reyes & half sisters Mariana & Esmeralda, all of Guatemala.

Son in law to Stirling & Jackie McIntyre of Belgrave.

Brother-in-law to Kayleigh & Ian Pearson of Ethel & Alex & Katie McIntyre of Dungannon.

Loving grandson to Grandparents in Guatamala.

Loving uncle to Rose and May Pearson, Thomas McIntyre and Zaid Ariza

Jose grew up in the small town of Jutiapa, Guatemala.  He came to Ontario Canada, in January 2011, to further his experience and knowledge working in the Dairy Industry.  He had a great passion for cow health and was always looking to improve his knowledge where he could.  He was hard working and passionate about every job he undertook throughout his career and always went to work with a big smile on his face ready to start the day no matter how early.  He was a proud employee of the Los family of Molesworth.

Working on a Dairy farm was where he met his loving wife Katrina, they have always shared the same passion for animals, farming & hard work.  They welcomed their oldest daughter Cielo in 2018, Jose was so proud and excited to become a father.  They then welcomed a second daughter Prim in 2020 and their family was complete.  Jose always referred to the girls as his princesses and loved taking them out for a walk, on his bike and to the farms he worked at to show them the cows and baby calves.  He took great interest and enjoyed spending time on his brother in laws Beef farm, where he would take every opportunity to look at the cattle and take pictures with his girls.

He was also passionate about his home of Guatemala and will be remembered for his infectious smile, joyful giggle, and his love for Spanish music.

Everyone is welcome to attend a come and go celebration of Jose's life, at the Ethel community hall on Sunday March 27th from 1-4pm.

Cards of sympathy and donations for a trust fund for Jose’s children can be sent to Box 340 Brussels (Please make cheques out to Katrina Ariza-Gudiel)
