James Wylie

Jim Wylie of Gorrie passed away at Wingham & District Hospital on Monday, August 17th, 2015 at the age of 82 years. Jim was the beloved husband of Fern (Cook) and will be sadly missed by his children Tim and Janice Wylie of Gorrie and Stephen and Sherri Wylie of Harriston. Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Christine, Aaron, Spencer and Samantha. Also loved by his 6 great grandchildren and brother in law Al Steedman. Predeceased by his infant son Daniel, his sister Frances Bradley and sister in law Nadine Steedman. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family at Gorrie United Church on Thursday, August 20th from 12 pm until the time of a Masonic Memorial Service at 2 PM, under the auspices of Forest Lodge No. 162 A.F.& A.M, with the memorial service immediately following. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Gorrie United Church or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
