Ira Martin

Ira R. Martin of RR#1 Wingham died peacefully at his home on Monday, October 28, 2013 at the age of 78. Ira was the husband of Lena Martin. Father of Irene Martin, Elam and Barbara Martin of RR#1 Wingham, Mary and Menno W. Hoover of RR#1 Bluevale, Martha and Josiah Bauman of RR#1 Bruce Mines, Levi and Susie Martin of RR#1 Wingham and Salema and Stephen Martin of RR#1 Wroxeter. Also survived by his four brothers - Leander, Joshua, George and Cyrus Martin, his sister Lydian Martin, his 29 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his first wife Salema (Brubacher) Martin, 2 sons and 1 brother. Viewing was held at the residence from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 29 and 8:30 to 11:00 AM and 1:00 to 4:00 PM (Standard Time) on Wednesday, October 30. Funeral services were held from Ira's home on Thursday, October 31 at 8:30 AM EST and thence to the Wroxeter Orthodox Mennonite Meeting House for burial and further services.
