Passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side at Huronlea Home for the Aged on Tuesday, October 10th, 2017 in his 80th year.

Beloved husband of Joan (Triebner) for 58 years.

Dear father of his four girls: Gwen & Keith Doherty of Port Albert, Mary Ann & Jeff Thompson of Brussels, Dianne & David Diehl of Ethel and Cindy & Harvey Kikkert of Belgrave.

Loving grandpa to Kate, Amber, Ashley, Emma, Paige, Shauna, Kali, Darby, Tamara, Cody, Shalin, Alyssa, Aryn, Jillian, Averly, Evan, Liam and Collin.

Great Grandpa to 17.

Brother-in-law to Lillian Bernard, Marsha Triebner, Ralph & Joyce Triebner, Brian Triebner & Audry McClennan, Brenda Hickson & Larry Fitchett.

Predeceased by parents Earl & Annie Bernard and parents-in-law David & Ruby Triebner, siblings Janie & Jack McEwing, Tom & Marg Bernard, George Bernard, Mary & Harold East and brother-in-law Gary Triebner.

Friends and family will be received at Brussels United Church for the Memorial Service on Friday, October 13th, 2017 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Bussels Branch #218. Cremation has taken place. Private interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Huron County or Brussels United Church would be appreciated.
