Harvey Hood

Harvey James Hood of RR#4 Brussels passed away at his residence after a short battle with cancer on Monday, May 8th, 2006. Born in Grey Township on June 24th, 1934, Harvey was in his 72nd year. Harvey will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 � years Leola (Jacklin) Hood and by his son Lyle and his wife Doris of RR#2 Seaforth. Also loved by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents John and Margaret, brothers Lloyd (at the end of the Second World War), Stirling and Glen, and sisters Doris Brown and her husband Bob and his twin sister Jean. Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 PM Tuesday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, where a private service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 10th with Reverend Cathrine Campbell officiating. Burial in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Community Nursing Services or to the Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation.
