Grace was born in Unity, Saskatchewan and enjoyed riding her horse to school while growing up. She followed her sister to Ontario when she was 18 to nanny and keep house near Seaforth. She loved to go dancing at the Crystal Palace where she eventually met Aubrey, and they married within a year at the Winthrop Manse. They settled on the 8th Line of Morris and raised 5 kids. After she lost Aubrey, she moved to Blyth and became very good friends with Evelyn Popp and spent time walking the streets of Blyth. She was a member of the Blyth UCW and enjoyed volunteering her time and baking pies. Grace was very proud of her family and loved each one for all their individuality. She loved to farm and worked with dairy and pigs but her ultimate love was for chickens. She loved to garden, do tai chi, bake bread and made everything from scratch. Grace had a wonderful life, and she will be missed by many.
