Gordon Workman of Brussels, passed away at Huronlea Home for the Aged on Friday, September 5th, 2008. Born in Seaforth on June 13th, 1922, Gordon was in his 87th year.
Gordon will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 66 years Isabel (Lowe) Workman and his children Bonnie and John Pennington of Brussels, Brian and Jo-Anne Workman of RR#3 Brussels, Donna and John Prtenjaca of RR#41 London, and Jacquie and Paul Gowing of RR#2 Bluevale. Dear brother of Margaret Mason of Sarnia. Also loved by his grandchildren Mark & Cathy Pennington, Lisa & Tim Fritz, Amy & Bill Fotheringham, Kelly & Kelly-Anne Workman, Amanda Workman & Wes Wilson, Ellen Zehr, Devon & Shelly Prtenjaca, Charla Prtenjaca & Tim Polley, Shea Prtenjaca, Alyssa Gowing, Ben Gowing and Nic Gowing and by his 15 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by his brothers Harry, Sam and Ken, his sister Ruth and by two great grandchildren.
Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Monday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted from Brussels United Church on Tuesday, September 9th at 2:00 PM officiated by Sandra Cable.
Interment in Brussels Cemetery.

A Legion Service, under the auspices of Brussels Legion Branch 218 RCL, will be held at the funeral home Monday at 6:45 PM
