Gordon Coulter

Gordon John Samuel Coulter passed away peacefully at the Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Friday, June 15th, 2012. Born in Maryborough Township on January 28th, 1916, Gordon was in his 97th year. Gordon will be sadly missed by his children Gladys Brenner of Kitchener, Frances Templeman of Gorrie, and Kenneth Coulter of Kitchener. Dear brother of Clifton and Sharon Coulter of Gorrie and Harold Coulter of Listowel. Also loved by his grandchildren Elizabeth and Steve Hartung, Barbara and Don Gibson, Anna Brenner and Gordon Brenner, his great grandchildren Ryan and Jaron Ireland, Lee, Katie, Tracy and Lisa Gibson, and Melissa and Sarah Matte, and his great great grandchildren Carter Gibson and Hudson Ireland and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wives Mabel (Mannell), Avylin (Cronk) and Leona (Lyons), his sons in law Tony Brenner and Thomas Templeman, his grandchildren Sandra Ireland and Kenny Coulter and sisters Gladys Coulter and Irene Omand. Friends will be received by the family 2 hours prior to the complete funeral service being conducted on Monday, June 18th at 2:00 PM from the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Burial in Hollen Cemetery, Maryborough Township. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Residents' Council of the Fordwich Village Nursing Home or the Alzheimer's Society.
