George Mutter

George Mutter of Brussels and Listowel passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 20th, 2010 at Huronlea Home for the Aged. Born in Minto Township on April 8th, 1924, George was in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Aileen (Gilkinson) Mutter who predeceased him in 2003. Dear father of Harold Mutter and wife Brenda of Wasaga Beach, Karen Chambers-Weishar and husband Ted of RR#2 Teeswater, and Paul Mutter and wife Barb of Brussels. Also loved by his grandchildren Jeff and Jen, Tim and Carly, Trevor and Laura, Ang and Steve, Scott, Curtis and Katie, and Kevin and by his 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his infant brother Harold. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Tuesday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home where the funeral will be conducted Wednesday, February 24th at 2:00 PM officiated by Reverend Jeff Hawkins. Spring interment in Harriston Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Huronlea Auxilliary would be appreciated.
