Frances VanderVeen

Frances Wilma (Arends) VanderVeen of RR#2 Brussels passed away peacefully on Monday, December 10th, 2012 at Seaforth Community Hospital in her 82nd year. Frances was the beloved wife of the late Abraham VanderVeen (June 14th, 2010) and will be sadly missed by her children Sylvia Nonkes of RR#3 Blyth, Jeannette McNeil of Lucknow, Andy and Darlene VanderVeen of Blyth, George and Brenda VanderVeen of Markdale, Frank and Shelly VanderVeen of Elko, BC and Robert VanderVeen of RR#2 Brussels. Cherished grandmother of Mark Nonkes, Peter and Tammy Nonkes, Aron and Stephanie Nonkes, Angela and Brad Mourao, Kyle McNeil, Jody and Jason Mulder, Andrea and Brent Meyers, Nikki and Rob Wynja, Janelle VanderVeen, Allison VanderVeen, Kelsey VanderVeen, Joel VanderVeen, Kendall VanderVeen, Nicolas VanderVeen, Jamie VanderVeen, Sadie Jo VanderVeen and Dwight VanderVeen. Loving great grandmother to West and Jack. Dear sister of Jantje Hovius and Ralph and Mary Arends. Dear sister in law to Nelly Grootveld, Jean and Dick Huisman and Janet and Bernie Scholman. Predeceased by her son in law Jack Nonkes, her brother Jake Arends and his wife Alice and brothers in law Bouke Hovius and Joop Grootveld. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Thursday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Frances' Life will be held on Friday, December 14th at 2:00 PM from Blyth Christian Reformed Church. Interment in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation or to World Vision Canada would be appreciated by the family.
