Frances Rose

Frances Anne (Cardiff) Rose of Brussels passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016. Born in Brussels on March 12th, 1947, Fran was in her 70th year. Fran was the beloved wife of the late Jim Rose (March 25, 1991) and will be sadly missed by her children Darwin Rose of Listowel and Tammy Rose and her husband Herb Govier of Blyth. Loving grandmother to Madison and Hunter Rose, and Hailey Govier. Fran was predeceased by her parents Pete and Helen Cardiff, her brother Fred and his wife Marie, and her sister Jean. Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 PM Friday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, Brussels. The funeral service will be conducted from St. John's Anglican Church, Brussels on Saturday, September 10th at 11:00 AM to be officiated by the Venerable Allan Livingstone. Burial in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
