Edward David

Edward George David of RR#1 Hanover, and formerly of Howick Township, passed away on Sunday, August 23rd, 2009 at Wingham & District Hospital in his 74th year. Dear father of Michael and Debbie David of Mount Forest, Glenn and Tracy David of Hanover, Rosemary Upshall and Doug Kelly of Mitchell, Douglas and Linda David of Neustadt, Joan Weiss of Bayfield, Ken David of Chatsworth and their mother Reita (Vittie) Tanner and her husband Gord of Paisley. Dear brother of Lillian Brooks, Ernie and Ruby David, Florence and Earl Maxwell, Ivy Monk, and Elsie and Bill Willert. Also remembered by his 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and the Moore and McArthur families. Predeceased by his wife June Thomas, partner Shirley McArthur, brothers Bill, Frank, Harold and Bob and his sister Dorothy Hackett. Cremation has taken place. At Edward's request there will be no funeral home visitation or service. Interment of cremated remains will take place in Fordwich Cemetery, Howick Township. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
