Edna Pearson

Edna Christina (Freebree) Pearson of Brussels passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12th, 2015 at Huronlea Home for the Aged. Born in Kincardine on May 31st, 1927, Edna was in her 89th year. Edna was the beloved wife of the late Ralph C. Pearson (July 2nd, 2000) and will be sadly missed by her daughters Nancy Procter and her husband Murray of Aguanga, California, Joyce McLean of London and Janet Smith and her partner Ben Durose of Owen Sound. Loving grandmother of Mark, Kyle and Danielle, Kirk and Julie, Andrea and Nick, Jill and Yaddi and Janine; and loving great grandmother of Jesse, Jeremy, Seth, Grace, Owen, Emma, Olivia, Taran and Nishaan. Also loved by her brother in law Jim Gibson of London and several nieces and nephews. Edna was predeceased by her granddaughter Christina McLean (1995), her sister Lucy Freebree (2003) and seven brothers & sisters in law. Edna was a graduate of the 1949 Nursing Class of Victoria Hospital. Friends will be received by the family 1 hour prior to the funeral service being conducted from Brussels United Church on Saturday, October 17 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Gary Clark and Pastor Sandra Cable officiating. Burial in Brussels Cemetery.
