Douglas Edward Wallace

Passed away unexpectedly on August 4th at Victoria Hospital in London in his 83rd year.

Loving husband to the late Mildred Elmerne (Parker).

Special friend to Jane Hall.

Brother to Robert and Harold & Ann Wallace.

Brother-in-law to Marie Wallace.

Missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by sibling Stewart & Verna Wallace, Margaret & Bob Minster, David Wallace, and in-law Jean Wallace.

Doug was very independent of his family for many years, only recently reconnecting with them. Doug was very friendly and a genuinely nice guy. Doug’s family will miss his humour and conversation. 

Cremation has taken place.

Due to covid restrictions Doug’s Service has been moved to Saturday, September 21st from 1:30-3:30 at Huronlea Home for the Aged in Brussels. 

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Huronlea’s Resident Bike Purchase would be appreciated.
