Doreen Young

Doreen (Hays) Young of Royal Terrace, Palmerston, passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Sunday, July 27th, 2014. Born in Howick Township on December 13th, 1929, Doreen was in her 85th year. Doreen was the beloved mother of Robert Young and grandmother of Laura. Dear sister of Bruce and Velma Hays of Wingham, Dell and Jim Dinniwell of Harriston, and Margaret and Charlie Fraser of Londesborough. Dear sister in law to Doris Hays of Belmore, Leroy Keller of Guelph, and Marina Hays of Hessen. Also loved by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter in law Joanne, her brothers Stan Hays and Kenneth Hays and sister Dorothy Keller. Cremation has taken place in accordance with Doreen's wishes. Doreen's' life will be celebrated from Wroxeter United Church on Tuesday, August 5th at 11:00 AM officiated by Reverend Jeff Hawkins. Interment of cremated remains to take place in Wroxeter Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Palmerston & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
