Donald Edgar

Don Edgar of RR#2 Gorrie passed away on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010 at Listowel Memorial Hospital. Born in Howick Township on July 26th, 1928, Don was in his 83rd year. Don will be sadly missed by his children Steve and Donna Edgar of Fordwich, Bruce and Brenda Edgar of Listowel and Susie and Bruce Hamilton of Listowel; his grandchildren Adam and Peggy, Ashleigh and Menno, Matthew, Jill and Jeremy, Daniel and Tamara, Micheal, Amanda: and his great grandchildren Rachael, Jax and Josh. Predeceased by his son Peter, wife Jean and friend Betsy. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9 PM Friday and one hour prior to the funeral service taking place at the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home on Saturday, September 25 at 2:00 PM. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
