The family of Darwin Anthony Ducharme, of Brussels Ontario are mourning his tragic passing on March 29th, 2022. We have also lost his loving partner Beverley Stevenson.
He was born on June 23, 1956, at Seaforth Hospital and lived in Brussels area all his life.
He is survived by two daughters Traci Ducharme (Jared Harkness) and Lisa Ducharme (Chad Armstrong).
Loving papa to Jadin, Conner, Anne-Marie, Emily, Morgann, and Roman.
Cherished brother of Patricia Keffer (Larry) of Bluevale, Ontario, Les Ducharme (Frieda) of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Sharon Berry of Stratford Ontario, and Barb Laidlaw (Jerry) of Atwood, Ontario.
Brother-in-law to Dorothea Ducharme of Brussels, Ontario.
Survived by many nieces, nephews, aunt and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Urban & Margaret Ducharme (nee McKenzie), Brothers: Oscar, Dennis, Larry, twin sister Darlene and brother-in-law Gordon Berry.
Darwin was a dedicated employee of Royal Homes for 38 years and was remarkable in his role as Warehouse Manager in Wingham. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, siblings and friends. He pursued many interests, giving back to the community, church and was always known for his generosity in helping people and always going the extra mile. He enjoyed his many travels and cruising – especially the Caribbean and Cuba. Darwin & Bev enjoyed snowmobiling and visiting their family and friends. Darwin had a passion for hockey as a player for many years and a loyal supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs. His favourite relaxing time was watching hockey and having debates with his brother Les.
He will always be remembered and hold a special place in the hearts of family and friends that loved him.
Friends and family will be received at Riverside Funeral Home, 401 Albert St. Brussels Ontario for visitation on Friday April 8th from 1-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Catholic Church Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Brussels, Ontario on Saturday April 9th at 11 am.
