Bev Stevenson

The Stevenson family is saddened to announce the sudden and tragic passing of our dear mother and grandma, Beverly Stevenson.

We are saddened by the loss of her loving partner over the last 15 years Darwin Ducharme.

Mom to Ron (Nicole) Stevenson and Chris (Lisa) Stevenson.

Grandma to Ashley Stevenson (Mitch Steadman), Brett Stevenson (Kristen Portena), Allison Stevenson, Kyle Stevenson, Lerissa Stevenson.

Missed by many family members, friends, and neighbours.

Predeceased by her husband Tom Stevenson, her parents Allan & Betty McCall. Father-in-law Stuart Stevenson and Sister-in-law Kaye Stevenson.

Bev always gave her full heart and loved without any boundaries, she brightened every situation with a smile on her face.  

After raising her boys, she followed her dream and returned to school to become a registered nurse. Bev cared with compassion for many people at the long-term care facility in Mitchell for 29 years. She loved to travel south to the Caribbean, Manintoulin Island, and all over Canada. She loved to read and listen to all types of music, and she enjoyed swimming and snowmobiling. She had a true sense of adventure and wasn’t afraid to try anything new. Bev loved taking pictures of everything especially her grandkids, creating lasting memories which the family will now cherish. Her 5 grandchildren were her everything and she was a proudest grandma. Her caring, loving nature and positive attitude will be missed by our family and community.

Friends and family will be received for visitation at The Four Winds Barn in Brussels on Tuesday April 12th from 1-4 and 7-9.

Funeral Service will take place at the Four Winds Barn at 2 pm on Wednesday April 13th.

Interment at Brussels Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to Huron County Victim Services would be appreciated.
