Alma Pearl (Brown) (Keil) Hetherington passed away peacefully at the Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 surrounded by her Pastor and family. Born in Howick Township on June 19th, 1920, Alma was in her 93rd year. Alma was the beloved wife of the late Harold Keil (1968) and the late George Hetherington (1987). She is survived and will ever be in the hearts of her children William (Bill) and Holly Keil of Ayr, Peter and Marion Keil of Gorrie, Mary Lou and Don Ruttan of Wroxeter, Tim and Vicki Keil of Listowel, Peggy and Dave Shaw of Gorrie, Bob and Barb Hetherington of Bobcaygeon, Betty and Ralph Watson of Brussels, Bill and Pauline Hetherington of Hamilton, Clif and Anne Hetherington of Edmonton and Jim and Beth Hetherington of Ottawa. Also loved by her 26 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, her sister in law Reta Brown of Listowel, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Harriet Brown, her sisters Anne, Elva, Eva, Dorothy, Mina and her brother Clifford.
Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Saturday from the Gorrie Visitation Centre of the Schimanski Family Funeral Home , 2050 Victoria Street, Gorrie. The funeral service will be conducted from Trinity Lutheran Church, 6784B Perth Rd 88, Kurtzville, on Sunday, April 14 at 2:000 PM officiated by Pastor Kurt Reinhardt.
Burial in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery.
