Albert Archer Wasson

Passed away peacefully on February 22nd at Seaforth Manor in his 86th year.

Loving husband to Nancy (Pawitch) Lee Campbell for 33 years.

Proud dad to Valerie & Paul Kramberger, and Shelley & Lee Dorssers.

Stepdad to Mike Pawitch and Mark & Crystal Pawitch.

Grandpa and Papa to Cole & Amy Dorssers, Caitlin & Nick Schultz, Ethan & Larissa Dorssers, Keyonia and Dan Bureau, Kelden Pawitch, Amerra Pawitch, Nyla Pawitch, Brody Pawitch and Bryce Pawitch.

Great Grandpa to 7 great grandchildren.

Brother to Barbara & Terry Richmond, and Clara Blake.

Brother-in-law to Frances & Steve Bearss, and Diana Campbell.

Predeceased by his parents George & Margaret (Storey) Wasson, sister Marjorie Wasson, and brother-in-laws Robert ‘Benny’ Blake, Bill Campbell, Dwight & Joan Campbell.

Albert was an honest, caring, hardworking family man who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. 

Albert was very involved with the Blyth United Church. He sang in the choir and was Superintendent of the Sunday School. He was well respected as a town councillor and Reeve of Blyth for many years. 

Albert wore many hats in his career. He ran road construction crews, operated any piece of equipment on the job site and drove semi-trucks. We will miss his warm smile.

Cremation has taken place.

Friends and family are invited to Blyth United Church on Saturday, March 1st for visitation from 10-11am with funeral service to follow at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers and expressions of sympathy donations to the Blyth United Church would be appreciated.
