Aafke Zwep

Aafke (de Vries) Zwep of Brussels passed away on Friday, January 30th, 2009 at Huronlea Home for the Aged. Born in the Netherlands on October 9th, 1921, Aafke was in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Jacob Zwep (1979). Dear mother of Atje Tuyten and husband Charlie of Stratford, Harry Zwep and his wife Natalie of Mississauga, Annette Lewington and her husband Ernie of RR#2 Brussels, George Zwep and his wife Jane of RR#2 Brussels, and Jerry Zwep and his wife Sandra of RR#2 Brussels. Dear sister of Ann Groenveld and her husband Andy of Ripley and Ninke de Vries of Holland. Also loved by her 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 brothers, a sister and grandson Jacob. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Sunday at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home where the service will be conducted on Monday, February 2, 2009 at 2:00 PM officiated by Pastor Elly Dow. Spring interment in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Seaforth Community Hospital, the Huronlea Auxillary or the Mood Disorder Association of Ontario.
